First let me start by saying a huge Thank you for all the Birthday wishes....I tried to personally thank everyone by a comment or an email and I hope I didn't leave anyone out...
Big smooch to you!
Second let me warn you....the "Weirdo Magnet is back"...and it wasn't my fault.
I'm going to try and keep this episode brief so I can bluster on about the table I did...
There is a "retail" space I found on Facebook that advertised it sold treasures...My sister and I went.... It's over an hour away....
<big dramatic pause for effect, cuz ya know what's coming>
it wasn't a store
It was someone's home that they were selling out of...and the "shopkeeper" wasn't home, as told to us,....by the man who came to greet us at the door in a towel
So, I stopped following her shop on FB and as politely as possible suggested she ask for appointments or maybe update her "info section" so she didn't get drop ins...
Let me be very clear...
I even said in my comment..."I am by no means trying to be rude, but maybe..."
Well, almost a month later she responds
by trying to start a Facebook War with rude comments on her shop page and telling me that I should have looked more closely at her pictures she posted
She literally tried to blow up my cell phone with her private messages from FB
And not so coincidentally I had six strangers that same morning want to be my FB friend, who I had never even heard of in my life, but suspiciously enough all had "ties" to the same town where this so called shop was
Can you say Freak? Are you laughing yet?
Cuz I sure was.....until she called me stupid
DING DING DING !!!!
went that boxing bell in my head
Needless to say the gloves came off...and she couldn't keep up with my 65 WPM typing skills, nor my past IT experience in knowing how to use the Web, Facebook and email...
or how to copy and paste
And she is no longer bothering me, but I am still laughing at her antics
Little tidbit though...I'd stay away from Knox, Indiana...there is something in the water
I'm serious, just drive around it...it's a small town
OK, now lets chat about rust, creamy pumpkins, a pallet table runner and antlers...I love to talk about those things :-)
I don't remember exactly where I got the rusty milk basket, but I know I paid less then 5 bucks for it...I am almost positive it was from Hammond Salvage
The antlers are from a LaPorte flea market...I got 2 pair from a local hunter for $14.00
The pallet table runner is a little gem that hubby made me
The creamy aged pumpkins are from Old Time Pottery many years ago...
The napkins, bunched up tablecloth and cake stand are all thrift store finds
I hope my weirdo magnet antics made you smile, because when I look back, I usually do...
Enjoy life, cuz I'm gonna...weirdo magnet or not!
